Peachtree Hospice Volunteers

Volunteers: The Heart of Hospice

In addition to its paid staff, hospice relies on the caring, compassionate services of a large group of trained and dedicated volunteers. These volunteers often develop a special relationship with a patient and family. Some volunteers work directly with patients and family, while others work in the office or on special projects.

Volunteers receive training to prepare them for the volunteer activity of their choice. Training is required for anyone wanting to be involved in patient and family care.
